Join clarinettist, conductor, and diving coach Scott Horsington this June 17th for “Practicing with Purpose.” This workshop session covers everything you need to know about how to practice: the biology of motor learning, organizing a productive practice session, tips and techniques for mastering difficult passages and preparing for performances. The session is perfect for all musicians: instrumentalists, vocalists, beginners, and advanced.
About Scott Horsington
Scott Horsington holds the Master of Music degree in Music Performance from Arizona State University and the Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from SUNY Brockport. He has served as an adjunct lecturer at SUNY Brockport since 2012, teaching Music Theory, Introduction to Music, and World Music, and directs the Brockport College-Community Orchestra and Brockport Concert Band.
